It is with a heavy heart that we received the news George Klamut of Dover, Ohio passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 by Diana Dillon Moorehead.
George belonged to Buckeye Beagle Club and ran his dogs under the Kennel name J and G Beagles. He and his late wife, Joyce traveled many miles together and finished many champions. George and Joyce were married for 52 years when he lost her in 2011. They were a great team and supported license trials and the federations they could make.
He helped and introduced Diana Dillon Moorehead into Beagling. George, Dick and Doris Donehue spent many hours at Buckeye and the reins have been turned over to Diana. George and Joyce were very dedicated and devoted to our sport. You never saw one without the other. We thank them for all they gave Beagling. George is back with the love of his life and in eternal rest and peace.
Our thoughts and prayers are with family and friends. May God grant them what they need to get through this difficult time. You will forever be in our hearts and live on thru the many precious memories and good times we shared. Rest in Peace our dear friend and give our loved ones a hug for us all.
Life is just a stepping stone
A pause before we make it home
A simple place to rest and be,
Until we reach eternity.
Everyone has a life journey,
A path to take with lots to see
God guides our steps along the way,
But we were never meant to stay.
Our final destination is a place
Filled with love, His majesty and grace
Today we celebrate the life of a loved one
Who has gone before us, the race he has won.
His journey has now ended,
His spirit has ascended
Claiming the great reward in eternity and peace.
