If you aren't aware, Steve Caldwell fell on the kitchen floor and fractured his pelvis and bruised his shoulder on June 3rd and went to hospital. No surgery can be done on the pelvis and has to heal on its own. In the hospital, he wasn't eating, drinking and ended up with pneumonia. The good news is he has left the hospital and went to a Nursing Home where he can do therapy.
He is doing physical and occupational therapy and does steps twice a day now. Due to Covid, he is quite isolated and is only allowed a visitor once a week for half an hour. His daughter Penny got them to agree that Bonnie and her can see him tonight, June 24th for half an hour. The staff is good and we hope Steve can continue to make progress. The food he isn't too happy with; but the kids and Bonnie bring in a meal and also snacks which definitely helps.
Steve does have his phone and cards can be mailed to his home address at
1528 Westview Drive
Franklin, PA. 16323
During this trying time and periods of isolation, I am sure cards and calls would be greatly appreciated.
