Jack Hancock called to inform beagling that Pat Mahlmeister passed away on May 6, 2020. He ran into Fred Weber at Huntington and he told him about Pat.
Pat had lost his loving wife, Patricia in 2013. He belonged to Huntington and Southern Ohio Association and was involved with the Heartland Federation. Pat and his son, Mike traveled to many trials together before Pat's health didn't allow him to do so and while he cared for his wife. He served as past President of the Heartland, supported license and sanction trials, plus the federations and Eukanuba. We thank Pat for his dedication, devotion and years of support to our sport. Our thoughts and prayers are with the rest of the family. God saw you were tired and suffering so now you are with the love of your life, Patricia. We have another guardian angel and you can run all the dogs you want now as you are free. Rest in Peace my Friend and Soar with the Eagles!
