Article by Lynette Coil

We thank Larry Lufkin for notifying us that Sidney Petty Passed away from Middle Tennessee Beagle Club and home of Petty's Beagles.

Sidney is quite the Icon in Beagling. He supported the Southern for years and loved running his Beagles.  He traveled all over supporting Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia in trials. I can still see him on his golf cart running his dogs, sitting on the porch or around the fire place talking dogs, runs, happenings thru the years.  He enjoyed being a fierce competitor and bringing ideas to the table.  He always wanted to finish one more and played it well into his 90s. There have been many interesting stories and happenings through the years, which will carry on in all the memories, as he lives on in our hearts.  Thank you for your dedication and support through the years.  Keep smiling down upon us!

Thanks for the good times and laughs.  Rest in Peace and our prayers are with you and your family.
