Congratulations Owners, Joseph and Michael Thomas on New Field Champion Duncan Creek Easy!
Border started their License Trial at Southern Michigan with 11 13" Males under Judges, Steve Redmon and Neil Roberts and 12 15" Males under Judges, Jim Garard and Mike Heminger. Southern Michigan had everything ready and plenty of rabbits for the Southern Michigan/Border Double Header. We ran the 13" Males to completion and then the 15" Males. Judges Jim Garard and Mike Heminger called back 6 Males for 2nd Series as follows:
1st Brace-Duncan Creek Easy and Yellow Sand Wally
2nd Brace-Woodlake Jason and Steeler Town Spartacus
3rd Brace-Cotton Hill Chess and Spoonbred Trump
All the braces had good runs, so for 3rd Series we had 2 Braces. Yellow Sand Wally and Woodlake Jason followed by Steeler Town Spartacus and Cotton Hill Chess and that was field trial and Duncan Creek Easy had his 3rd Win and Finished!
Duncan Creek Easy had more than enough points and just needed a Win to be a Field Champion. Joe and Mike (Father and Son) have had a lot of fun campaigning their Duncan Creek Beagles. At Southern Michigan the day before they had Duncan Creek Harvey back high and Duncan Creek Easy was 2nd and it stayed the same. Joe and Mike are big supporters of the Northern Circuit and there wouldn't be a male class a lot of times if they didn't come. They campaigned bassets before they came into brace beagling and are great competitors. We were all very happy for them and they had a great trial with their males.
Duncan Creek Easy is sired by Tilley's Double Diamond and his dam is Big Bark Billie Jean and Ed White is the Breeder.
Congratulations One and All and May You Have Continued Success and Good Health!
