Marsell G. Trull, 93, an Honorary Member of Delsea Beagle Club, passed away earlier this week on his birthday. Prior to joining Delsea B C, Marsell was a long time member of Bridgeton and Salem County Beagle Clubs.
The highlight of Marsell’s beagling career was when he finished “F C Sandy Brook Abe”, and then the fun he had running him in, and winning, the N J State Championship Trial.
Marsell was a beagler who loved his sport, worked hard at the club level, supported all the clubs in the area, and was a true ‘southern gentleman’.
Born in Waynesville, N C, Marsell served during WWII with the USMC. Upon discharge he came to New Jersey and made his home in Millville, working most of his life at Wheaton Glass. He was predeceased by his wife, a son, and seven siblings; and he leaves behind quite a legacy as he is survived by three children, two brothers, nine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
May he rest in Eternal Peace!
