In Memory of Armond Cardillo
Armond Cardillo passed away on December 5th 2017, at the age of 95.
Armond was a past member of the Southern NY, Rockland County, Lebanon, Mid-Hudson and Empire Beagle Clubs. He was always a true gentleman, a good sport and a fierce competitor. Those of us in the North East can remember that quiet guy with the red and white hounds always in second series and quite often going home with the Blue.
His kennel name Taghkanic Creek was well known , Taghkanic Creek Candy ii, Taghkanic Creek Victoria’s secret, Taghkanic Creek Goldilocks just a few.
Armond lived in a residential neighborhood in the city of Yonkers, New York. He raised his litters in the basement and when he couldn’t get to a beagle club he would often train his hound at the city park.
One thing most of us didn’t know about Armond was that before most of us were born he was flying B-29s in ww II preserving our way of life. He was buried with military honors in Acram NY.
Armond will be missed by all that knew him. His Obituary can be found at www.flynnmemorialhome.com
