Lebanon County's trial started on one of the hottest days of the year. The heat index was over 100 degrees. Yet the bitch classes had some good runs and some good winners. There was some rain over night and many of the males struggled to keep the rabbit going. My, how scenting conditions changed overnight. The judges did a good job of getting the best hounds on top. There was a total of 60 entries. Good meals were served by the kitchen staff. Judges were Jerre Houck and Paul Krepicz on the 13" classes and Raymond Brantner and Rob Stewart on the 15" classes. Thanks to handlers Karen and Fred Eurick and Robert Hartman for supporting our trial.
