We thank Paul Sizemore for filling in for Dan Strauch and Garry Marlow for judging the 15" Females. Dan had to work and then got rained out. Bob Hamrick and Jim Ludwig judged the 13" Females. We opened with 26 15" Females and 16 13" Females. We closed with 7 13" Males judged by Bob Hamrick and Jim Ludwig and 12 15" Males judged by Garry Marlow and Dan Strauch. We had a total of 61 entries and we thank everyone who came and supported our trial.

We thank Judy & Clyde Flory of The Feed Barn for feeding Joy Dog food for our trial.

We thank Northwestern for having the club and grounds in great shape and hosting our trial. We really appreciate their support and help. There were plenty of rabbits. Valerie Johnson and her crew, Liz Durham, Barb Werdin, Deb Poczik and Shirley Prez for the great job feeding the hungry beaglers morning, noon and night. They had a 3 piece band Saturday night who played Country and Blue Grass. We had rain first thing in the morning and then sunshine. Severe thunder storms came in Saturday evening. We thank our marshals, brush beaters, path watchers and cart drivers for keeping the trial running smoothly.

It was nice to see friends, Ted and Pat Warfield who visited with us today. Maybe Ted will get back in beagling if he gets a golf cart????

There were two new field champions after our first day. Congratulations John E Johnson on new Field Champion Copper Creek Merry Ann who won the 13" Female Class! Congratulations Chuck Poczik Jr. on New Field Champion Gillum's Courtyard Mums who won the 15" Females!
