Penn-mar held a successful trial with entry of 80 hounds. The weather was warm and humid and the running was tough. The judges did a good job of getting the best hounds in their relative positions. Judging the trial were Jerre Houck and Billy Wein on the 13" males and the 15" bitches and on the 15" males and 13" bitches were Ewing Carhart and Blair Faust.The rabbits were plentiful as usual. Sue Baumgardner served her great meals. Thanks to mike Welch and Doug Lesight for filling in for Bob Orlowsky as he recovers from his illness. Hopefully bob will be back with us shortly. Thanks to Fred and Karen, Bill Wein and Bob Hartman for bring their string of hounds to support our trial. Olde Columbia Dog Food Co. supplied the feed for the hounds.
