Coastal Plains Licensed Trial began today with cold temperatures but sunshine! The rabbits came nicely and our trial was completed before 1:00 p.m. On our third day we had 4 inches of snow or better. We held the drawing up 45-60 mins. so everyone who came could arrive safely. The day was definitely a challenge. After all was said and done, everyone got ready for the Happy Jack Dinner that was scheduled Saturday night. As usual, they had a great seafood dinner put on at Peaden's and they donated numerous and wonderful door prizes for the ladies and gents. A good time was had by all and we thank you HAPPY JACK! Our judges are Dwight Miller and John Sharpe. John Sharpe replaced George Fields due to his wife's illness. We sincerely hope George's wife is doing well. These fellows do a nice job! Thank you for stepping in John! Thanks to all of our kitchen help,our Marshal, our rabbit jumpers and the guests who pitched in to jump rabbits. Thanks to all of you who came!! Thank you to Purina for feeding the hounds. Congratualtions to Art Boger and Wayne Harkelroad on finishing new FC Close Call Cherokee III...Bob Coil handling!
