Iodine State Member, Preacher Jones Passed Away

I received the following from John Hill. Our thoughts and prayers are with Preacher Jones family and friends and we are sorry for their loss.

Long time member of Iodine State Beagle Club, The Rev. E. Gray Jones died Sunday, August 8, 2010. Preacher Jones was a dedicated member that held our club together with his financial support, hard work, and involvement. He finished many champions and enjoyed the sport of beagling. He will be dearly missed. Below is his obituary:


THE REVEREND E. GRAY JONES
ANDERSON, SC – The Reverend Edwin Gray Jones, Jr., age 96, husband of Beatrice Glazener Jones, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2010, at the Rainey Hospice House.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at Concord Baptist Church, Anderson, conducted by the Reverend Dr. Don R. Cox and the Reverend Dr. James R. Thomason. A Committal Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at Grassy Pond Baptist Church, Gaffney, conducted by the Reverend Terry Lanford.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:00 am prior to the service on Wednesday at Concord Baptist Church.
