Purina National Trial Dates are Changed

I received the following email from Jerry Gileot concerning the change in dates of the Purina National:

The Coraopolis license trial and the Purina National were scheduled for October 28th through the 31st . Due to an error, the National Awards Banquet was scheduled for the prior weekend . It can't be changed because of a contract with the Embassy Hotel. They have another event that would be on our regular date.

The AKC has granted Purina and Coraopolis permission to run the trials October 21st through 24th. The awards taking place on Saturday the 23rd. I know it interferes with some clubs in our area. Everyone involved tried to get it corrected as to not harm any other clubs event. It was determined this was the best solution. Everything should be back to normal next year. .
