Michigan Beaglers Ersel Blackburn and Russ White Finish Field Champions

Congratulations to Michigan Beaglers Ersel Blackburn and Russ White for finishing field champions. Both Ersel and Russ are long-time members of Oakland Beagle Club in eastern Michigan near Port Huron.

Ersel Blackburn's FC Blackburn's Low Gear finished for his championship at Flint River by winning the thirteen inch class. There were fifteen entries in the class. Fellow Oakland beagler, Dick Doan was the handler. Low Gear was sired by FC Gillum's Courtyard Picasso. His dam is FC Blackburn's Crystal To. He finished with nine wins in the thirteen inch male class.

Russ White's FC Seven Ponds Black Storm also finished in great style by winning the thirteen inch male class at Show Barn. Bob and Lynette Coil were his handlers. Thirteen hounds were entered in the competition. Black Storm was sired by FC Close Call Cobia and his dam is Chickamauga Faye. He finished with six wins.
