Catawba Closes with 39 Males and New FC Mark-A-Way Tanner

15" Male Winner Logan Run Spanky owned by Richard Sproul and handled by J.A.Proctor.
Catawba County closed with 39 males entered on Saturday, February 27th. There were 19 13" Males and 20 15" Males for a final total of 101 entries for their license trial.
Jerre Houck and Ken Peeden judged the 13" Males and called back 6 Males for 2nd Series as follows:
1st Brace - Mark-A-Way Tanner and Harkey's General Ike
2nd Brace - Hunting Camp Jeffersom amd Blu-Ridge Placebo
3rd Brace - Bear Branch High Dollar and Juniper Creek Jake
The 2nd Brace turned and 3rd Series was Harkey's General Ike and Blu Ridge Placebo.
Congratulations Owner and Handler Wayne Plemmons on New Field Champion Mark-A-Way Tanner! Tanner is sired by FC Tilley's Little Shane and FC Cana Ridge Patience.
Chris Lehneis and Bud Jena judged the 15" Males and called back 8 hounds for 2nd Series as follows:
1st Brace - Surefoot Diamond and Ocean State Pretender
2nd Brace - Logan Run Spanky and Bell Road Killer
3rd Brace - Terra Haven Baxter and Amity Hill Magnum
4th Brace - Beatty's Sammy and Terra Haven Hunter
When all was said and done the 2nd Brace moved to the top and Logan Run Spanky Owned by Richard Sproul and handled by J.A. Proctor won the 15" Male class. Logan Run Spanky is sired by FC Sunshine Ronnie and FC Major Hill Miss Ugly! Congratulations to the Winners and Placed hounds!
